    The LMA catalogue is online.

    https://search.lma.gov.uk/scripts/mwi...LMA_OPAC?LOGON

The reference for St Leonard Shoreditch is P91/LEN.

You won't need it on this occasion but note that when searching the LMA catalogue for a church, write "Saint" and not "St".

On all census returns it shows Mary Jane as born Ireland but nothing more specific.

Most linen weaving in Ireland was done in Ulster. So again the occupation points to that area of Ireland as the place of origin.

Thank you for every ones comments. Both Ancestry & London Metropolitan Archives have replied promptly. Ancestry didn't seem to know if their record set included BANNS or where they might be found but the LMA have confirmed that the Banns for Saint Leonard's Shoreditch did not survive.
I hope this may be helpful.

The image of the marriage certificate for William Parkinson and Mary Jane Eakins taken from an online subscription site and originally posted in this message has been removed. Posting of such images is not allowed. Not only is it a breach of copyright, it also contravenes the T&Cs of any subscription site as well as those of British-Genealogy.

Thank you jen1302, this is the marriage record of which the marriage certificate is a copy, same details and hand writing. The Banns would have been prior to this and possible shown William & Mary Jane's 'parish' or probably botp, both of this parish. It was an off chance the Banns just may have shown Mary Jane's home parish in Ireland. This would have helped us find her roots.
    Thank you.
