    Default Wick church yard 1849

Can someone tell me if the church yard of Wick that was in use in 1849 still exists ? Is it part of the Old Parish Church of Wick ? I am trying to find the burial place of Lieut. Edward Medley RN who was buried in the church yard of Wick on April 19 1849 after being carried there from his home Elzie House.

If all else fails, the Scottish Genealogy Society has the transcriptions of pre-1855 Memorial Inscriptions for sale HERE.
There's only 1 Medley listed on David Ryrie's index HERE. Since you're a bit far away for a quick visit, you could always ask the Caithness FHS HERE if they can help.

I have moved this to the Caithness forum, where it might be seen by folk with local knowledge. The One Place Forum is really for people doing an in-depth study of a place to offer help
