This new thread links to an earlier thread Judah Lee Simmonds-Maria Solomon and posts data on Rachel Eve Simmonds and her marriage to Heinrich Knoblauch.
I can't locate a GRO Birth Record Index for Rachel using a combination of names but she was born about 1858 the daughter of Judah Lee Simmonds and Maria Solomon.

Small note for my Simmonds relatives:
The Death of Mrs Rachel Eve Knoblauch was recorded in the Cheltenham Chronicle Cheltenham Gloucestershire 5 April 1947."as a result of burns received when trying to light a fire with newspaper saturated in paraffin oil. The woman was Mrs Rachel Eve Knoblauch 1 Devonshire Terrace Moreton Marsh. Miss Winifred Marrie Ottilie Knoblauch had called Stow police staion on March 29 and told him that her mother had received burns which..."
Winifred did not marry and died Dec qtr 1975 Lewes 18 1238 born 14 October 1894

The following post is an update on Cecil Henry Adolphus KNOBLAUCH aka CLIFFORD KENNEDY:
Cecil Knoblauch 1897-1990 was baptised at the age of 13 in 1911- Cecil Henry Adolphus Knoblauch b 31 May 1897 parents Henry Knoblauch Merchant and Rachel 29 St Julian's Farm Road

The UK Incoming Passenger Lists show Cecil Knoblauch on the Empress of Australia Port of Arrival Southampton 1931 Musician on board the ship - wife Isobel M Knoblauch 36a Hitherley Grove Westbourne Cresc London

The Free BMD Marriages indicate that Cecil in 1922 was using both surnames Knoblauch and Kennedy as well as different first names Cecil and Clifford. In addition, Isobel appears to have done the same:

The clue to this change of name for Cecil can be seen in the inquest into the death of his mother Rachel see 5 April 1947 Cheltenham Chronicle where Cecil stated that he was " now known as Cecil Kennedy"

Cecil aka Clifford re- married in 1971 and the Marriage Index records both names of Knoblauch and Kennedy:

I cannot confirm any births of children from the first marriage. There is a Isabel M KNOBLICH and an Ethel KNOBLICH Detroit Border Crossings Passenger and Crew Lists London to Detroit and then to Chicago Pan American Airways Arrival 27 August 1956 but I cannot confirm that this Isabel is the wife of Cecil aka Clifford.
