There is the suggestion that William & Beatrice had at least 10 children

Not sure how some of this fits in with your records particularly as JOhn DIVERS appears to be a grandparent

    Hi
I have separated your post about William and given it a place of its own in the Essex forum because the Introduce Yourself forum is for doing just that.
It now has a better chance of being seen by more members.

All the above children's baptisms are on ancestry. If you don't have access to it your local library may have the free version.
There is also one other child Ann Emily bpt 1843.
There are two deaths of an Ann E Pickering 1843-1861 that could be her. Both in 1857 in Thanet Kent and Greenwich. Of course she just may be somewhere else in 1861.

I am wondering if we should be looking for a BAUGH connection to the family, if I have picked up the correct family birth registration...

    JOhn T = John TURNEY

    Elizabeth A = Elizabeth Ann

    Wiliam B = William Baugh

    Thomas T= Thomas TURNEY

    Alexander S = Alexander SCHLUSSER

We do have names of their children who emigrated to South Africa in 1889.
    19 January 1883
    London Morning Post
On 16th inst at Melbourne Grove E Dulwich the wife of William B PICKERING a son

This could be William Alexander b 1883 Camberwell

We now know from the grave stone that William & Beatrice had a large family, some born before leaving the UK.
Unfortunately theses children would be born between 1882 - 1889 when they left the UK and will not appear on a UK census

The only resource available to us are the birth marriage & death certificates, which as you probably know are filed in quarters, under surname and area of event.
However if you look at Freebmd.org.uk for PICKERING, years 1882 - 1889, I selected Camberwell as the last know area you will see there are a number of PICKERING births including one that would fit the child Henry Curson who may be Henry Charles.

Checking Parish Registers ( familysearch.org may have these) to see if the child was baptised & who the parents are will confirm some of the children

YOU indicate you know which child sailed, can you tell us these. At least we can then start to eliminate others
