There is the suggestion that William & Beatrice had at least 10 children

Not sure how some of this fits in with your records particularly as JOhn DIVERS appears to be a grandparent

    Hi
I have separated your post about William and given it a place of its own in the Essex forum because the Introduce Yourself forum is for doing just that.
It now has a better chance of being seen by more members.

There is a public tree on ancestry that has these children of John Pickering and Rebecca Elizabeth Turney 1807.

John (father of William) died 1 December 1852 at 1 Victoria Cottages, New Cross S.E.
I see perhaps where the name Charles Collins came from.( friend the bankers clerk George Collins)
thank you, it very exciting as pieces , fall into place, I have been trying to find info since 2010. Never heard the name Alexander Schu"ssler. The plot thickens.

A friend found a view of Rebecca Elizabeth Pickering nee Turney's will., my g.granf father's wife dd,18 Nov.1880, which mentions sons Samuel and Alexander Schlusser Pickering. My g.grandfather did not list either of them, nor his sister Elizabeth A in his hand written list of which I received a copy. Yesterday I came across an article in the NWKFS VOL. 9 NO 5 DD MARCH 2002 , written by a Roger Sutton of Lancing, West Sussex mentioning the his g.grandfather was John Turney Pickering , with the same parents as William Baugh. Unfortunately I do not know if he is still alive but I have written to him enclosing my e-mail address. Is this not amazing?
I am also wondering where the Schlusser name came from. Did the families name their children after relatives and friends in the hope of recognition or money reward? Thank you again for all the help given, I am slowly finding famiily members through your efforts and kindness. regards Cynthia Pickering Alter.

All the above children's baptisms are on ancestry. If you don't have access to it your local library may have the free version.
There is also one other child Ann Emily bpt 1843.
There are two deaths of an Ann E Pickering 1843-1861 that could be her. Both in 1857 in Thanet Kent and Greenwich. Of course she just may be somewhere else in 1861.
