I am still searching for Charles Foreman, re my previous posts. Born 1834 Westbury Wiltshire. His step father was Isaac Brown. Every birth, marriage and death certificate I bought was not him. ( only 2 census entries, 1841/1851 after that, nothing .) His parents died in the 1850s in Westbury Workhouse.
I wondered whether he migrated to Australia as there are some entries for a Charles Foreman, however although I have a membership with Ancestry , it is not a world wide one.
Is there any way around this ? I really would like to know what happened to him.
Thank you.

silverday's previous thread which mentions Charles Foreman is this one.
Please be careful when reading through as to begin with we were looking at the wrong Charles Foreman. Post #21 lists the correct Charles in the 1851 census. silverday gives more information about the correct Charles post #16 onwards.

Thanks for posting the link Pam
I found it but then got caught up in reading it all over again!
I have to leave it again for a while to sort out the domestics.

Hi,
Do you know his parents names? Most of the Aussie death indexes have parents names if they were known so it might help to find a death for him.
Also do you have more information on the arrival your talking about from An..? A year ?

Its just a wild guess on my part that he may have migrated after 1852. His mother was Martha Foreman ( she later married Isaac brown ). His father John Foreman died around the same time Charles was born 1834 thereabouts. Charles simply vanished after the 1851 census and believe me I went for every certificate possible.

This looks like Charles' baptism. Mother's name matches the 1841/1851 census. There are others born 1834 +/-5 yrs but not with a mother Mary.
