    Default Marlow, Timmins from Ibstock

Hello, my Great Grandma Martha Marlow nee Timmins (1890's - 1964) married my Great Grandad Robert Marlow (1892 - 1946) in 1913 they had my Grandad Frank Marlow (1921 -1951). I am just curious about any info, I never knew any living Marlow's from Ibstock.

Hi! Thank you, that is my Great Grandad's family home, Edwin Albert Marlow was in the first world war and he died on October 30th 1918, at home, from C3 injuries. I'm hoping to get his death certificate I really want to know what happened to him! On the war memorial he is A. Marlow and on his grave stone he is E.A.... x

    Default Medal Index Card

Hi, Marlow.j, and a very warm welcome to Brit Gen...

Have just checked the online catalogue of The National Archives (TNA) and think that this is probably the Medal Index Card of your man: https://discovery.nationalarchives.go...s?uri=D3933750. You will see that he was in the Labour Corps. The card can be downloaded for a small fee or, if you have a sub to Ancestry, viewed "free" on that site.

While on TNA's site, please read the excellent Research Guide that covers WW1.

Keep us up to date with your researches and post about anything that seems puzzling - someone here is sure to be able to offer help.

    Swooping off now.

    Welcome to British-Genealogy marlow.j

I have moved your post from the Introduce Yourself forum as it has turned into a research post. It is now in the Leicestershire forum but if needs be it can be moved again.
