Hello all William Long was a close family friend of mine ho was on the Dragonfly. He survived the attack but was captured by the Japanese in Sumatra where he was used to build the notorious Sumatra Railway. He survived the war being liberated in Dec of 1945. He came back a very embittered man until the day he died in his 70s.
