    Question William Kibblewhite 1700 of Purton

    Our line of the Kibblewhite family can be traced back directly to William Kibblewhite who was born around 1700 and who moved from Purton to Godalming in 1718. This is all logged in our family Bible. Previous to him, I cannot find any references to his father or grandfather, though there were a lot of Kibblewhites in the area at that time. My own father always thought that our line descended from John Kibblewhite (born 1566) of Purton, and I have found descendants of his, but no line which links him to our William.
    Does anyone have any knowledge of him? He is my great (x5) grandfather.

    William kibblewhite born in 1731 is my great x4 grandfather... John is my 10th great grandfather does that help?
