Not accepting posts

Why is the sight not accepting new posts except for introducing yourself and of course this one

I haven't had a problem. What did you try to do, and in which sub-forum?

the sub forums are Family History and Topics,I click on the upward facing chevron/arrow to the right of the sub forum heading and then click on new thread thats when the message of not accepting new posts comes up.

I think you need to select the appropriate topic first eg Topics...Black Sheep or Family History...British Census.

As Peter has said, Family History and Topics, on red banners, are group headings and not forums per se. The chevron on the right is to enable you to collapse the headings for ease of scrolling. You can only post in the forums listed under the various red banner headings.
