I'm David; I live in the UK and in France but my origins are County Louth, Eire. I am interested in three names:
Jonathan Abbott of Lambeth, born 1796 because I met a descendant of this man who stowed away and became a living legend and his successors were even greater.
John (known as Jack) Shaw of Ardgreenan Road, Belfast, member of the St John's Ambulance and given the MBE in 1941. President of one of the Orange Orders. Died of cancer in about 1950/1..Apart from the name of his mother in Bangor (whom I cannot trace) I can find nothing about him.
The Brown family of Carlingford / Omeath (although another one Brown has a pretty full tree there are a few gaps around 1850 - 1900)
