Using Edward's full name and countries both England and Canada the probate given previously is the only one coming up. He has 2 pages of detail on his WW1 enlistment record but nothing re NOK etc.
Nothing showing up just using Edward Blamire either and/or variations, wild cards etc. Sorry

Now, you set me on the right track with that birth and census for Louisa. I have discovered from this that Louisa was the daughter of Emily nee Smith, her father's first wife. She was the aunt of Constance and Edward who I never knew about, so that explains why the money was passed down. Thank you
