I have just been reviewing my records on an inheritance worthy of Heir Hunters, but I did not write it down properly and I cannot find the information again. Can anyone help?
Edward Liddle Blamire died destitute on 4th March 1928 in Montreal, Quebec
According to what I can understand of what I wrote, someone called something like Louise Mather, although I could not read it properly at the time, died in 1951. she lived at 139 Herne? Road, Worthing, formerly of St Albans. She had Edward's cousin, Constance Irene Bruton Partridge Smith, as an executer and somehow money was left to Edward. So he had probate in 1951 which is where I got this from
Then they took 2 years to track down his heirs, of which my grandfather was one, and there was another probate in 1953 which I can find easily
I'm trying to sort out the first part of this puzzle, but I cannot find any record of Edward's first probate, which I found online, and did not write down where
Can anyone help me find out who Louise was?

The only Louisa born c 1880 and single I can pick up on the 1911 census is a boarder and born St Albans Hertfordshire. She is with the Wilmott sisters one of whom is a teacher and all born Harpenden. None of the others have occupations.
This one matches the birth registered St Albans June 1/4 1881 3a/465

Thank you for that, that explains where I got the the address. But I think there was something to do with Edward in 1951 that i found, that was different from his probate in 1953

Thank you, this 1953 probate is bit I knew, John Skinner was my grandfather, who had never met Edward. I don't understand where I could have found anything else.

I work in the old search on ancestry.
On the main search page I entered just Louisa Mather, England
In the results I clicked on the probate records but she isn't there. So staying on that page and using the 'Refine your search' box I entered her name again with the date 1951 +/- 1 and there she is!Sometimes paranoia is just having all the facts.

Thanks, it did not work until I went on old search. I wonder why it makes such a difference!
