Looking for any and all records from Cornamona, Co. Galway, Ire related to: Walsh, Lydon, Coyne. Some from these families left Cornamona in 1880s and settled in Scranton PA (Minooka section). Thanks, Tom & Mary Ann (Walsh) Langan

Griffiths Valuation for 1855 lists a Thomas Walsh in Cornamona, where he had a house, and a one fifth share of 110 acres (plot 1c).

Here’s the family in the 1901 census:
https://www.census.nationalarchives.i...amona/1392506/
Thomas Walsh died intestate on 4th March 1910. The executor was Margaret Fitzhenry, married woman. (Whom I take to be his daughter). Value of the estate was £27 10/-.

By 1911 most of that family have died and dispersed, save for 1 son and his mother (who had presumably been married and widowed twice):

No sign of Lydon or Coyne in that townland in Griffiths or the censuses.
According to this site, RC records for Cong (Galway West Riding) only start in 1870, so that may not help your search for baptisms and marriages.

I would be interested if you have anything on the Langan clan. Regards Michael Langan
