Ancestor Isaac Harris living on Mark Lane in London died Oct 13 1849. Death certificate says he drank nitric acid and was temporarily insane for 12 hrs prior to dying (OMG!). Thought there might be something in the newspaper. Don't have any real experience looking for newspaper stuff. Would appreciate suggestions on best website.
thanks

I am not familiar with online newspaper records either but try putting this in to a search engine "Wikipedia:List of online newspaper archives" then scroll down until you find UK in the menu on left.
There are members of Brit-Gen who have experience in searching newspapers who will surely be along to help soon.

British Newspaper Archive
The BNA is the place to look: https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/search
Access to BNA papers is included in a sub to Find My Past.
