FMP stands for Find My Past, a subscription website.
There was a Mary (no middle name) born in Liverpool in 1923. Her mother's name was O'Brien.
    GRO reference:
June qtr. 1923, Liverpool district, Vol 8B, Page 66

    Hello kellykelly and welcome toBrit-Gen

Lancs OPC is Lancashire Online Parish Clerk Project and can be found here https://www.lan-opc.org.uk/

FMP is a pay per view site to see full transcriptions and images but can be used for basic searches, ancestry is another subscription site.
familysearch.org is a free site and is very useful when moving back past the 1841 census which was the first census of any use.
FreeBMD is another free site for births. marriages and deaths.
FreeCen and FreeReg are both works in progress but may be of help. google them.
Of course completely free and able with lots of goodwill are the members of Brit-Gen

it looks as though Mary COUTANCHE, nee O'Brien died in 1931 and Philip re-married.

Deaths Jun 1931 Mary COUTANCHE aged 46, West Derby dist. Vol 8B, Page 422

Marriages Jun 1931 Philip COUNTANCHE to Lily WILSON, West Derby dist. Vol 8B, Page 1070

    he didn't wait long.

I cannot find Philip on the 1911 Census but believe I have found him on the 1891 & 1901 Censuses with parents and siblings.
