i am looking for my second great grandmothers parents

my second great grand mother is emily brown of coventry, warwickshire, england b. 1870 i think emilys children

are thomas sheridan brown, john sheridan (sherwood) brown,ethel brown,annie brown. emily's children came to

canada on the carthaginian ship in 1904 for a better future

the childrens father was thomas sheridan b1865 dec d. 1932 in coventry warwickshire england

john sheridan (sherwood) brown is my great grandfather, johns daughter rose brown is my grandmother rose

married frederick murray tucker and rose and frederick's daughter carolyn rose tucker is my mother

any information on emily and her parents would be very appriciated

In 1911 Thomas is living at Lot (Cot?) 1 House 1 Grey Friars lane Coventry. Occupation Tailor, born Leeds Yorkshire
He says he has been married for under 1 year and no children born to the marriage. There is no wife with him.

On family search.org there is the baptism of a William Sheridan Brown on 29 August 1896, mother Emily. No father named. There is no father named on the baptism records for Thomas and John. I can't find any for Ethel and Annie. Someone else may have better eyes than me. His birth is registered in the June 1/4 1896 on FreeBMD. So what happened to William?
