Looking for Charles Rimmer in 1930 & 1940

I have Charles born July 1891 in the 1920 census with his wife Lena and 3 daughters in Portland, Oregon.

By 1929 he and Lena had split up - 1930 census has her supposedly married to Edward Stanley Bowen in Portland - along with her 3 daufgters.

Charles possibly died in San Pedro, California, but this is unconfirmed at present.

The 1920 census suggests that the age of first marriage for Edward BOWEN was 38. i.e circa 1929

Cannot see a death date for Charles RIMMER

The U.S. City Directories have Charles Rimmer, sometimes with the middle initial M with Lena in
1920 occupation labourer.
1921 no occupation,
1923 an Oiler.
1924 a labourer,
1926 a Miller
In 1929 he is alone and is an Oiler again.

I see that both Lena and Charles were born in Missourri. I can't see him in 1940 census although there are a few Char* Rimmers born 1890 +/- 5.

What is the date of death for the Charles Rimmer in San Pedro?

There are several public trees on A - some naming him as Charles Mercer Rimmer and some just Charles.

One tree has the date of death as 23 December 1946, but has a date of birth as 1 January 1898.

Not sure this is my Charles, but don't want to post more details publicly. Can I send you a Private Message?
