Samuel Bryant married in Melbourne 1860. Worked for Brooks Robinson Glass Co. The company began in Nailsea by Henry Brooks. Martha Brooks was Samuel's mother, buried Nailsea.
There was a great fire in Nailsea glassworks 1850.
Is there a way I can find out from emigration list Britain if fare was paid? If his fare was paid I will have difficulty finding records in Aust.
regards, di

There was a destructive fire in September 1863 that almost destroyed the glassworks - can't find reference to one in 1850.

helachau,
My mistake. A fire occured near Nailsea St as a result of fire box knocked off. See Peter Wright, Nailsea a handbook
