If you want to find any family history society then you should go to

    https://www.ffhs.org.uk/members2/contacting.php

This gives you the addresses of all the societies that are members of the Federation of Family History Societies - worldwide.
Sadly, our dear friend Ann (alias Ladkyis) passed away on Thursday, 26th. December, 2019.

Do not forget some societies are not members of the Federation.
    Buckinghamshire genealogical Society for one.

https://www.bucksgs.org.uk/ This society has Mrs Eve McLaughlin (author of the famous McLaughlin guides) as Secretary.

For the answer to this and many other genealogical questions, see GenUKI. You will find it useful to bookmark this.

The Buckinghamshire section of GenUKI lists seven societies which may be of interest.

No, don't try this one folks.

I appreciate that you live in the US Steve, but I can assure you that a building society (which is a financial institution similar to a bank) is a world away from a family history society. The latter will usually have FHS somewhere in its title/website address.

Other very useful sources of such info are genuki.org.uk for the UK, and cyndislist.com for the world.
