The Rev Josiah Cox married Alice M Morley on the 28th June 1871 in St Aubin's Chapel, Jersey. Where are the BMD records for Jersey kept? I can't find the information on Ancestry.
I found the information for their marriage in the newspaper archive collection.

How about trying UKBMDs (free site)
This is the National Archives guide: https://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/r...ds-and-man.htm
and this is a Jersey site: https://www.

Indexed records are held by the Office of the Superintendent Registrar, 10 Royal Square, St Helier.
Jersey Archive also hold what they call the "second-copy" index to marriages - this is a register which is compiled but not fully set up for searching. If you ring them on 01534 833300 they will be glad to help (but they do charge). If by Chapel you mean the Methodist Chapel it will be in the St Brelade non-Anglican register.
