I am researching the family and descendants of James Thomas Powlesland who went to Adelaide abt 1872-8 almost certainly embarking at Plymouth, and whose son George appears frequently in connection with SA railways.My great grandmother was a Powlesland.

That's interesting. Does anyone know anything about Kenneth Powlesland d. 1981, Frederick Charles Powlesland d. 2004, Madge Powlesland d.2011. Are they related?

All I can find about Kenneth Powlesland with a quick scan is that his full name was Kenneth George Powlesland. Will look more later.
