Any more information on James Pendleton born 1745 in Upholland. lancs married Catherine Wilson born 1749 died 1826. married at All Saints. Wigan in 1772. If possible parents of James and there siblings.

The marriage that Lizzy9 found in post #8 says that James was of Upholland, not that he was born there. In post #9, she goes on to say:

Looking at the online parish registers for Upholland there's no baptisms for Pendletons entered until 1773. Maybe 'your' James moved to Upholland from elsewhere.

You could take a trip to the Record Office in Preston to check this out for yourself and have a further rummage but, as Lancashire is very well covered online, you may find that you have to widen your search.
