I seem to have sleeping brain cells this morning. Cant wake them up.
I am trying to look up any workhouse records for a relative who was in the West London Union and was there still when it amalgamated to the City of Union Workhouse so around 1855-1875.
I have access to Anc.. but can not work out how to find the records even on there!
Could some kind person point me in the right direction.
With thanks
Elma

The database is called "London, England, Poor Law Records, 1430-1973"
The Borough is the City, obviously
West and East London records are in with the City of London Union.
You may want to check the online catalogue - "CITY OF LONDON BOARD OF GUARDIANS", catalogue reference CBG
