In December i started a thread on The Australia board(titled duplicate BMD) regarding a marriage registered in both Tamworth NSW and Ipswich,Qld;what is the correct procedure for locating old threads?

I don't know how long they stay there, but try "Quick Links" on the top bar, then "Subscribed Threads".
It worked for me - hope it works for you!

Hello Eric,
There are a few options:
The way that Jane has said is the easiest
Another option is to click on Quick Links > User CP > List Subscriptions (in the left-hand sidebar)
Or.....
Plonk a keyword from the thread (eg a surname) in the search box at the top to bring up all threads with that word in
Or....
Go to the Australia board (or wherever you have started a thread) and scroll down until you see the thread.
