Smile John Henry or Henry John Walbridge

I am researching my family history and I am trying to find out more about my mothers family line. My mothers maiden name was Walbridge, her grandfather was John Henry Walbridge but he was possibly born Henry John Walbridge in 1871/72 in Misterton, Somerset, England. I have seen a copy of his marriage certificate 3 October 1903 in York, on it shows his father as George but at the time of marriage he was already deceased. I am struggling to find records of his death but believe that he died in Somerset. John Henry's mother did remarry and records I have show them living in York in 1891 before he joined the army. I am more interested in finding out about the Somerset connection ie Misterton,Haselbury etc.
If anyone can help with my line of enquiry I would appreciate it.

As I'm uncertain exactly what info you are trying to find, I'll leave it for now, but willing to help once I know what info you have and what you are looking for.

Please can you tell us whether or not you have access to census records?

Just adding this though I'm not certain who's death you are referring to; is it George's or Henry John's?

    Deaths Sept qrt 1874.
George Wallbridge, age 28, Chard, 5c/291

    Hi Lizzy,
I am trying to find out more on John Henry's father George and his mother Hannah/Annie. I have been trying to workout what Hannah's maiden name was, I think it might have been Brown. I am a member of Ancestry but have been struggling to find anyone on there looking up the same line of enquiry. Many thanks for your post.

Hi there since you have access to census records I won't have to give you all the numbers. If you search for Hannah Brown b 1847, Haselbury, Somerset you should find Hannah in the 1851 & 1861 census.
