My paternal uncle (1906-1984) served with LMS.
He went on to become the Kentish Town stationmaster.

Bear in mind that the LMS was not created until the Grouping that took placein the early 1920s - your ancestor would probably have started work on the Midland, or some other constituent of the LMS, and his staff records will therefore involve at least two companies.

Found Railway Uncle
Thank you for information, euryalus.
I have now found uncle c/o my local library's free access of Ancestry. The book entry records uncle as working for Midland at Lydney station in the Forest of Dean earning £100 per year in 1927.
