Information I have from a lady in Austrailia is: the John Hutton died in 1897 (have the death cert), in 1901 and 1911 census Sarah is living with a William Hutton and later marries a William Henry Wolley 1918 (have the cert) . Interesting thing is Kate Emily born 1900 on the 1901 census has father down as William Hutton so question is, William Henry Wolley and William Hutton the same person.

Thanks, malcolm99, for going to the trouble of transcribing those. It sounds like Maki2000 already had all that info (and more!) so I'm sorry to have wasted your valuable time. I really must learn to be patient and wait for the original poster to come back and answer questions. Off in search of some chocolate now that I can't find any more questions I can answer!

Looking at the 1881 census that Malcolm posted, particularly at the son William H HUTTON...
Checking the 1871 census....
1871: Piece: 3020; Folio: 85; Page: 29
Halesowen
Henry Woolley, head, 47, Leominster, Herefordshir
Emma Woolley, dau, single, 24, Leominster, Herefordshire
William H Woolley, grandson, 8 mo, Halesowen Worcestershire
According to the West Midlands BMD, Emma WOOLLEY married William HUTTON in 1871 at Dudley, St Edmund.
It appears that William Henry WOOLLEY goes by the HUTTON surname after 1871. In the 1891 census William is a soldier and on checking military records, William HUTTON born abt. 1871 in Halesowen attested to the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry in 1889 and was discharged in 1893. His attestation number was 3029.
William HUTTON also served in WW1. He attested to the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry in 1914 (he mentions his previous attestation number of 3029). Interestingly, for the name and address of the next of kin, it has this...
Friend Sarah Reynolds 33 Park St Bham
Mother Emma Hutton ? Ct Halesowen
Father dead
So it appears that William Henry WHOLLEY (aka HUTTON) took up with Sarah HUTTON nee REYNOLDS sometime after her husband John HUTTON died.
Hmm! If John HUTTON and William Henry HUTTON (senior) were brothers, then this means that Sarah was William Henry WHOLLEY/HUTTON's step-aunt (or aunt-in-law.)

What makes you believe William Henry (senior) and John Hutton were related?

In the 1861 census, we have this John HATTON...
1861: Piece: 2064 Folio: 137 Page: 22
Birmingham Street, Halesowen
WAKEFIELD, Eliza, head, widow, 60, errand man nail maker, Halesowen Worcestershire
HATTON, John, grandson, 6, Worcestershire
WAKEFIELD, Williamm, grandson, 18, nail maker, Halesowen Worcestershire
In 1871 John HUTTON is staying with his aunt Jane WAKEFIELD. So the question is, who are John's parents. Checking the 1841 census for his grandmother Eliza WAKEFIELD...
1841: Piece: 908; Book: 6; Folio: 44; Page: 17
Birm^m Street, Halesowen
Elizh Wakefield 40
Elizh Wakefield 20
Jane Wakefield 15
Kittey Wakefield 11
Sarah Wakefield 9
Lucy Grove 20
George Grove 4
Assuming that Kitty is short for Catherine then there is this marriage...
groom's name: John Hutton
bride's name: Catherine Wakefield
marriage date: 24 Dec 1848
marriage place: Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England
As well as this burial for a child...
name: Betsey Hutton
gender: Female
baptism/christening date: 02 Apr 1856
baptism/christening place: HALESOWEN, WORCESTER, ENGLAND
death date: 13 Feb 1859
father's name: John Hutton
mother's name: Catherine
Looking at this 1851 census, I suspect Caroline is actually Catherine and if this is true then John HUTTON and William Henry HUTTON are brothers.
1851: Piece: 2034 Folio: 286 Page: 10
Birmingham Street, Halesowen
HUTTON, John, head, 24, green grocer, Birmingham Warwickshire
HUTTON, Caroline, wife, 22, Halesowen Worcestershire
HUTTON, William Hy, son, 1, Halesowen Worcestershire
Thus is just a suspicion and needs further work but I have to nip out for while.
