    Default E.Grinstead Records

Are there any Parish Records for East Grinstead -other than St.Swithun available?
I've looked at E.Grinstead (St.Swithun) on Internet & they don't seem to have the Family members I need to see there.

In all censuses my x 3 Gt.G'Father mentions E.Grinstead as his place of birth, can't quite line him up for baptisms,; Joseph Edward Martin, Edward Joseph or just plain Joseph.
Others have so named him with parents but how did they find proof????

    b. Feb 2nd 1789? -(married 27th Jan. 1809 St.Mary Newington )- died 12 Aug. 1867?.
Have my eye on the C.D. but want to know it has more content than I've seen so far.

I'm probably pointing you in the direction of something you already know about, but there is an OPC for East Grinstead
sussex-opc.org/index.php?k=354&t=Parish (with usual bits in front)

They may know of anything else available

    Best wishes

Thanks Ann, that's where I got my info to date from or rather lack of. I must probe some nearbye areas also, as my Manny may have been born in or baptised in other than E.G.
