I have finally (and quite a few certificates later) sorted out the relationship of William Hollins (my ggggrandfather) his first wife Mary Davenport and his second "wife" Hannah Tunicliff. Mary died on 25th January 1848 of consumption (phstisis) and then on the 1851 census William is living with his "wife" Hannah Hollins plus father in Law Thomas Tunicliff and step children Sarah Mills and John Mills. Hannah married Faithfull (you couldn't make it up) Mills in January 1838 and on her death certificate in 1855 she is still the wife of Faithfull Mills but living at the address for William Hollins on the 1861 census, in which both William and Faithfull are recorded as widowers. Nice to have a bit of scandal in the family

Now to sort out the rest of the Hollins line and how that some of the missing parish records turn up.
