I have discovered that my dad married someone who had been born in Eden Sanitarium in Darjeeling, India, and would like to discover when she had moved to England, how they met etc. Any advice welcome

Findmypast has “British India Office records” for births, marriages, deaths and wills. This information (I think) comes from the records held by the British Library, some of which, if not all can also be found on Family Search. These are the records from the colonial era and go up to 1948. The exact coverage varies for each class of record, so you have to trawl through the sites to find the details.

Ancestry has UK incoming Passenger Lists 1878-1960.

Your father's first wife age 4 was travelling back to India in 1922 with her parents Joseph and Eva and younger brother Roger age 1. Address in UK Laburnum Cottage Netley Road Brentford. They were missionaries returning to India as their permanent residence.

I am using information from the tree on ancestry which I found when answering your post re Colin E Perry Here so hope I have the correct family.
