I'M A NEWBIE and I'm trying to find out more information on my paternal family in Flintshire and Denbighshire. My GG grandfather was Elias Evans, wife Sarah Roberts, living in Talar, St Asaph in the 1800's. Elias was born in Henllan 1821, Sarah in 1829 St.Asaph. Their son David R. Evans (1859-1923) left for USA in 1881. The other children in the family seem to be Jane 1853, Mary 1857, Thomas 1864, Robert 1867, and Margaret 1872.
elias and sarah married in Abergele in 1851, the parents shown on the copy of the lic. are shown as David Roberts (1784) and Jane (1786) for Sarah; and Robert Evans (1783) and Mary (??)
BUT that is as far as I have been able to find.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I subscribe to Ancestry and Find My Past plus i have a readers card for the NLW from my last visit to Wales.
Thanks, Kathy G

Howdy K! You could look on this forum for a Welsh Family History Society who might have access to Parish records. Happy hunting!
