"This was an action brought by the plaintiff, who is the occupier of a mill called Worston Mill, about 8 miles from this town, against the defendant, who occupied Bridgford Mill, for penning back the water. Both the mills were supplied with water by the Sowe. The defendant's mill was lower down the stream than the plaintiff's ........."

Today we have Little and Great Bridgford. Worston Mill is at Little Bridgford.
