Default Edward Farrell, from Kilkenny to Canada 1817

I am trying to find any record of Edward Farrell and his family. He left from Wexford in 1817 and came to Canada with 7 family members.Possible names of brothers are Barney and Patrick.I believe his wifes name was Mary(Curran) and he was Catholic from Kilkenny(church records from a marriage of his son George in Montreal 1822).Birth dates are a bit sketchy but likely 1796-1803
I know it's a long shot but hope that someone will have some of the same names in their trees.

thanks to obbie...luck is what I'll need..finding an Irish catholic before Griffiths valuation is a tough slog and the Farrells were a prolific bunch...I know he was a private with the British Guard and that's how he got his land grant in Canada

    Hi, Maureen.

Edward's LAC record and the passenger list link below suggest he was Protestant. The list of Catholic passengers from Wexford does contain several Farrells, however.
