my great grandfather who left his first wife to go off with another woman?, well I now have a reliable genealogist who has informed me that he did not, his first wife died young and none of his later five children are illegitemate.
Caveat Emptor!!, the problem came about because five years ago I engaged a genealogist to research my family and she did a bad job now truth has risen like oil to the surface at last. I am happy about this.
Be careful who you engage if you use someone, I enquired aboout this present genealogist and asked her some questions before I got her to do any work for me.
