Hello,
I am seeking a picture of an ancestor who settled in Bridgend in the early 1920's & lived there for many years. This ancestor's name was Amos Ashong & he became a well known local character as he was a herbalist who was well used by the local community.
Amos was a dark skinned gentleman who originally came from Ghana. He married & settled in Bridgend where he & his wife had five children.
I am hoping that perhaps someone somewhere who has an interest in the local history of Bridgend just might have a picture of Amos amongst their collection with him being a well known local character.
Thank you,
Brock
