Can anyone please help me with a John Umble Horton, he was born Aston, Birmingham 1893 died 1921. I have found him listed on the British Army Medal Roll 1914 - 1920, this gives his Service No as 19334 (Private) Royal Highlanders.
I know he was in Palestine (1918) and we think he died from TB following his time in the Middle East. How can I find his Service or Pension Record or just more info on his days in the 2nd Battalion.
Thanks for any help

...died age 27 on 14 January 1921
https://www.veterans-uk.info/service_...e_records.html
"The Army Personnel Centre Historical Disclosures Section holds Army Service records for...soldiers whose service ended after January 1921"
Well, your man's service didn't end after January 1921 so by rights the MoD won't have his records. But who knows?
