Oh not that old glasses excuse again!
...and as for the Latin....I can't tell you how much I loathed it at school! Almost as bad as Physics and Algebra...(a History, Art and English girl I was, and still am really)

This is great! But I have a query - I've just signed up for trial on Ancestry.co.uk and found no Joseph Pain/Payne in WEeton for the 1841 census. You mention he's at the same address but how can you tell? there doesn't appear to be house numbers noted. I see there's an Alice Pain in 2 places also - how would this have happened?

Ahh, found it. You guys are REALLY good. Would never EVER have picked that up. And the transcriber got it wrong in the computer entry too - REIN instead of PAIN. Nice work!
