British Army in Nova Scotia 1871

Hi All,

2 Questions really, did the 1871 Canadian census include british soldiers posted to Canada?

If so, would some kind soul have a look for a Harry/Henry Pickering b 1842 Wragby Lincs together with his wife Alice b1850 Arundel Sussex

He was a member of the 87th Regiment of Foot

Stickymone, I can't say for sure if British soldiers were included in the 1871 census of Canada but it seems unlikely - that's just a guess though!

I did have a look for Henry and Alice but couldn't find them.
