I'm looking for my grandfathers uncle who went to live in Australia with his wife.
All I know is they Lived in Glasgow and left in the 20's, Their nmes were Joseph and Margaret Campbell. Does anybody know where I can find out when the left?

Outward Passenger lists held at The National Archives have been scanned and are available on the pay-per-view site 'findmypast'
To help identify them from others with a surname which occurs quite frequently, you really need to have some idea of how old they were.

Joseph and Margaret both age 25 left on 12 Sept 1927 bound for Melbourne. His occupation Turner. Their address in Glasgow C/O Malcolm 54 Clyde Place Glasgow.
They travelled on the ship "Largs Bay"
