    Default Crimean War Medals

Wonder if some kind person could do a look up for me. My Great Great Grandfather served in the Crimean War and received a Medal ( from old letters written by him) His name was Richard Ball born in Cornwall 1835. He also said he served on the "Lord Exmouth' So far I cant find anything abt that time of his life. Thankyou from New Zealand

There was a Richard Ball, Ordinary Seaman serving on HMS Exmouth in the Baltic during the Crimean War, and the National Archives have the service record for a man of this name born 21 Feb 1835, Cornwall - of course neither may be your man!
