Ancestor's travelling abroad

I've decided to have another look into Herbert's whereabouts after his birth and would appreciate any help.

I have looked at "London, England, Deaths and Burials, 1813-1980" on Ancestry and he doesn't show up there, unless his death wasn't recorded for some reason?

Please can someone have a look through this thread and suggest where I should look next?

The only information I have is the following:

Herbert was baptised on the 24th of March 1816 at St Mary Magdalene, Woolwich and his parents were Robert Crouch & Sarah Shersby.

If only the 1801 - 1831 censuses were available!

I've had a quick look for deaths for people named Robert Crouch who were born in 1816 and have found the following:

Name: Robert Crouch
Record Type: Burial
Event Date: 7 Mar 1825
Age: 9
Estimated birth year: abt 1816
Death Date: 07 Mar 1825
Parish: St John The Evangelist
Borough: Westminster
County: Middlesex

The reason I'm looking at the name Robert is because it's similar to Herbert and was the name of his father, the next question is how to find out if it is the one I'm looking for?

I think I'm going mad, someone found Herbert's death record but I can't seem to find the thread that it was in!
