    Smile A really simple competition

This is a really simple competition, you do not need to have subscriptions or use pay per view sites, the answer is available from the free sites on the Internet.
The most convincing answer to the second question will be the tie breaker that decides the winner.

Two fantastic prizes have been donated for the winners.
A copy of Your Old Maps 3
And a £10 voucher to spend at Parish Chest

PM Mutley with your answers (click on my user name) by the closing date of
    12.00 a.m. GMT Saturday 20 February.

Once the competition has closed I will attempt to copy all your replies to a new thread and the winner will be announced.

    Good Luck folks,
Read the clues and get searching!

We have quite a few entries coming in.
At first it seems very hard but the members that have replied have been amazed how easy it is
once they really thought about it!

It actually takes longer to type the answer than it does to find it.

Well I've really, really, thought about it, and the only answer I've come up with so far is that the answer to the first question isn't Winston Spencer Churchill.
Though I did win a copy of Your Maps 3 in an earlier competition, and can recommend it as an item worth winning. And if you love maps, then it's an item worth putting on a birthday/Christmas present list.

I read the 1st question and the immediate answer I had was.." Well, if YOU don't know your full name how can I figure it out?" Then I read on and realized its not really about YOU
I've been hooked on the Olympic opening ceremonies........ FANTASTIC

Well Pam, I am really surprised, you are one of the best at knocking down those brick walls for members.

I think that I am trying to show people that if you have a mountain to climb, look for the easiest route before attempting the summit.

And there is a clue, if ever there was one.

Just a nudge. You know you want something to get you thinking on a Sunday afternoon, and you have less than a week now

Well I looked at it and first thought the clue is in the 2nd question so it had to be someone with the name Archer but now you 've given another clue and it could be Sir Edmund Hillary and that's all I know. I'm watching the Olympics!
