    Hi Geoffers,

I've been trying to "beat" this but haven't been able to do so.

I can get it as second hit using four of Mutley's words but not as top hit.

Unless I hyphenate one of the parameters (and count the hyphenated expression as one word) - but I guess that would be a bit infra dig.

JAP, you can get it as a top hit with four words, if you choose the right words and use the right search engine. You may need to think beyond Google.

    Hi Kerrywood!

I'm glad to hear that it is possible ...
Have you told Geoffers your solution?

But Google will do for me ...

I'm waiting to read the winning answer to Q2 (no, I haven't entered). Or all answers to Q2! It will be interesting if anyone says what I might have said ...

    All the best,

    JAP

I doubt if Geoffers needs my input on this one

But Google will do for me ...
I've since discovered that you can get it as top hit on Google too, with those same four words.

Aha! After a lot of permutations (had to do something whilst B-G was down this morning), I've just found a top hit using four words.

But like you I was happy enough with five.
But which ever way you go about it, what's the answer to question 2???

OK, I will rearrange Clue 3.

    3. I became a teacher in Surrey where I met my wife Ruth.

    Try googling again

It is quite possible to find the answer using only one clue plus one word (with some punctuation) - that's how I found it.
