    Red face Turner/Wilson near Solihull

I have managed to trace William Charles Turner 1900 Hackney to a degree
he died in 1983 in the London Borough of Havering
he was a retired bus driver
The informant listed is his son in law Colin Wilson. I don't know the name of his daughter for sure but it could be Valerie.
I have written a letter to the address of 55 Church Hill Road Solihull West Midlands where they still live explaining my connection. I am a bit chicken to call. Is anyone else researching the names Turner and Wilson?
William also had a brother Hubert Turner 1905, my grandfather and Albert Turner ?1903ish.

William, Hubert and Albert's parents were Emma (Adams) and William Albert Turner. The senior William worked in or managed a bar in Islington.

    Sharon,

Do you have the 1901 census information on the TURNERs? Emma and William are living at 51 Shepperton Road with their six-month old son, William C. Both parents are only 20 years old. William is a Bookbinder's Porter -- if I am reading the handwriting on the image correctly. William was born in Newington, London, Emma in St. Pancras, London and baby William in Hackney.

FYI: The Civil Registration Index for England shows that Emma ADAMS and William Albert TURNER married in the 3rd quarter of 1898 in Islington.

    Default Turner/Wilson

    Hi Trish,
Yes that is the Turner/Adams family. We have used that info to get the marriage license and Williams C 's birth cert and his death cert. The senior William Albert Turner was a pub manager or worker. He died in 1925/26 of a gastric ulcer so I think he may have been an alcoholic. I was just wondering if anyone esle is researching the combination of Turner's with Adams and Wilson.
So I am looking to find children of William Charles Turner and who he married. I think they lived in Newbury Park and Solihull/ Birmingham between 1920 to 1990.
I can hardly wait for the 1911 census. It is amazing to think I can still find living relatives.

Just don't hold your breath while you're waiting for the 1911 census. Its release is 2447 days - or in simple terms, more than six and a half years - away.

I know, I have alot of time for research. Emma's father we know from her marriage cert was Charles Adams, we have found them on the 1881. Her mother's name was Elizabeth Martin. Thanks for your help
