    Default Mining in Transvaal South Africa

    My Great Great Grandfather went to South Africa to the Diamond Mines. I believe he went out there around 1900 but I cannot find out any details of when he went or when he died there. Can anybody help?

    The pay per view site Findmypast has passenger lists from 1890 to 1960. If your ancestor died in South Africa it is worth searching for the Death Notice on the NAAIRS site.
