welcome to the British-Genealogy forums DeanofHall
Unfortunately Jap1 is no longer a memmber of BG as indicated by the word 'Guest' under her name.
Dundee10 has already given some suggestions and I think we will leave your post as part of this thread as there is so much background information for those wanting to help.

Wow! That’s an amazingly fast response. I think I can see the family resemblance in the mugshot too! I can’t wait to tell my father 👍. Thanks again

I’m new to forums, so I think I thanked the wrong person for your help 😃. Brilliant work, thank you. I can see the family resemblance in the photo. I am looking forward to learning more about this. Cheers, dean.

Default Marriage certificates for NSW Aus

Hello again forum gods, very much a newcomer question: just how does one find a certificate, such as that given to me by Dundee10:
    1964/1891
    ROBINSON, JOHN W
    TAYLOR, EMILY M
    SYDNEY

I tried the NSW site and got a bit lost. Any tips for a beginner would be appreciated. 👍

    Hi
you can order certificates from this site https://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/
Make sure you read the information contained under the "Family History" heading in the top RH of the page especially the bit about transcription agents who can provide a cheaper version of the certificate you want.
