Hi,This is my 1st post to this forum.
I've located the birth records of my gggrandfather,Roger Hampson,from 1851 in Leigh,Atherton,Tydesley.
His parents were,Benjamin Hampson and Jane Orrell,who were married in Wigan.
Roger immigrated to the USA in 1870.
Roger had 6 siblings:-
Ann Hampson Blundell born abt.1843.
She immigrated to the USA after 1896 following death of her husband.
John Hampson,who was known to be still living in Leigh in 1896.
Thomas Hampson,who was a grocer in Manchester in 1904.
I have records of his trip to the USA to visit Roger in 1904 with his brother in law,Thomas Gregory.
Jane Hampson Gregory,wife of Thomas Gregory.
Jane and Thomas lived at 11 Twist Lane in Wigan.
They had 5 known children,listed below.

Alice(Mrs.Thomas Pennington)
Bertha(Mrs.John Alexander)
Ethel(Mrs.Daniel Smith)
