Sorry, I missed out why I thought Thomas Lawrence may have been born Liverpool!

As Thomas B. Lawrence married Annie C. Shrubb in Lambeth registration district, I searched census for a Thomas B Lawrence, and found one at Lambeth in 1901.

He was the son of Louisa C. Lawrence (widow), and born 1880-1881 at Liverpool. In 1891, this Thomas B. Lawrence appears to be in a school in Liverpool.

This is just a guess at the moment.

As this isn't actually related to me, I haven't purchased the marriage certificate of Thomas B. Lawrence and Annie C. Shrubb. This marriage certificate would help provide extra clues.

Wright & Scrubb start having children in Sevenoaks Kent in 1913

Guy & Scrubb start having children in Croydon in 1920.

remember that mother's maiden name wasn't included on indexes until 1912/1913 - so possible they had kids before then, though they don't appear to have any in 1911, but their husband's weren't with them in 1911 either.

So if Annie Wright (nee Shrubb) was having children in 1913, then she couldn't be married to Thomas B. Lawrence in mar quarter of 1912 - so rules her out!

Looks like he's still in Lambeth in 1911, but I can't seem to bring up any other Lawrence in the household in the results list.
