I'm still looking for information on the Young family of Midlothian.
I now know that Robert Young was born about 1818 in Westruther, Berwickshire and he married Catherine Young who was born about 1812 in Greenlaw, on 29 May 1840 in Greenlaw.
Any information about these people and/or their extended family would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello there
Have you Robert in 1861 census?
If not please let me know and I'll send details.
Don't want to list info which you may already have.
Warm regards
Georgie

Robert Young
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have the 51, 61, 81 and 91 Census. On the 41 Census there is a Robert born about 1818 and David born about 1821 in Berwickshire, in the village of Swinton, and both are Masons, but I don't know if this is the same Robert.
Regards
